Heroes - Episode One online

Colleen Hawkins (Competent) posted this on Thursday, 15th February 2007, 03:34

For those peeps who haven`t seen anything of Heroes yet (and that includes me), you can watch the first episode of the show online here (courtesy of the sci-fi channel which will be running the series from February 19th):

http://www.scifiuk.com/heroes/

You do have to register on the site, but I don`t think that`s too terrible a hardship (and you can probably register a bogus email addy if you want as I didn`t have to click on a confirmation email before being allowed to watch). What I`ve seen so far (currently twenty minutes in to the episode) is intriguing. I bet you rotten lot all think I`m a PR person now and will post nasty responses to this :(

All of em: www.tv-links.co.uk/Heroes_links.html

Titles lead to the full episodes, parts lead to parts, registration not required (but Flash is), new episodes go up the day after transmission. Enjoy! :D:D:D

Lol...okay, you win. Very cool though. Shows you how naive I am: it never crossed my mind that they`d all be available to watch online somewhere.

Except that all bar the last 2 or 3 episodes have been deleted for breach of the site`s t & c. Googling "heroes torrent" would of course provide the solution :)

They get replaced pretty quick. Also no/less risk to users and easy for newbies to do. :D

Its a damn good series. Episode 1 certainly got me thinking, but it was episode 2 when I got hooked. I couldn`t wait for it to come back after the Christmas break.

I got one of my colleagues hooked on it when I leant her the first 11 episodes - now every tuesday before going into work she has to setup her computer to get the next episode, just like me!

I couldn`t believe how many actors/actresses were in it from other shows that I loved (won`t mention who as I don`t think they start filtering in until a couple of eps in and don`t want to spoil it)

For those that don`t know it has been confirmed that season 1 will run for 22 episodes. MUST buy the DVD when it is released!!!

I have high hopes for the extra features of the DVD, considering the effort put in to the supplementary graphic novels online etc.

Heroes is next on my hitlist, currently watching Oz and before that it was The Wire, The Shield & The Sopranos as well as keeping up to date with 24, Prison Break & Lost.

Think I need an extra hard drive!!

I haven`t even attempted to get any of my "real" friends to watch Heroes.

Haven`t been able to get them to watch 24, Lost, Prison Break, The Shield, Arrested Development, The Wire, Entourage.

The best I can get is people who occasionally see Lost on channel 4 and say to me

"I know what happens, they are all dead aren`t they?"

"No! Are you being serious?"

Jesus no ones even seen Seinfeld! The amount of quotes that are wasted on them!

I just think Heroes would be too hard a sell to them
