I have a wedding film on vhs. A friend i know can put it on to dvd for me. I got it done but the dvd isn`t working on my dvd player. I have a samsung 709. TO record it to dvd he used a pioneer dvd-rw. DOes anyone know why it isnt working on my dvd and it works on my laptop.

I would guess that the Samsung cannot read DVD-RW Discs.

Even if it does read CD-RW it may not like the CD brand. Try a different one. You never know.
