What`s the best torrent search engine?

Ben Franklin (Reviewer) posted this on Tuesday, 28th November 2006, 17:45

Looking for something in particular, but not sure where to start. I know there are a few users on here who frequently download torrents, so I thought I`d try here first.

Any ideas guys?

I use torrentspy.com, has a decent search facility and there are indexed lists of torrents as well.

Others that I know of with good reputations are isohunt.com and thepiratebay.org.

those should keep you right i think.
oh, and tvtorrents.com, which you have to sign up for, and they keep track of your stats - ratios etc, but it is a good place to get TV progs.

cheers

Companies that have p**sed me off so much that I will never use them again and I hope you dont either....
Alloy Bodies of Manchester - The Grand Daddy & Benchmark for shockingly poor customer service.
Capital Bank Leasing who are part of BOS & are f**ing useless & struggle to action the smallest request but are fantastically efficient at taking money out of my account
Abbey National Absolutely diabolical service - how hard is it to change £60 of coins into notes????
....more coming soon no doubt.....

What Martin said....I always use Torrentz. It then gives a selection of sites which you can use.

zcultfm.com is good for comics.
imtorrents.com and bwtorrents.com are good for indian movies
Other than those I use Mininova for everything else.

If I can`t find it on Mininova, then I use isohunt.comAccording to the site, it isQuote:

Cheers guys, thats awesome. I tend to use eMule for most hard to find stuff, and I`m already a member of another more exclusive torrent site, but there are occasions when they don`t even have everything I want.

Thanks again!
