Receiving feedback from a seller on eBay...

flyingmonkey (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 19th October 2006, 21:46

Hello

I still haven`t received feedback from an item I paid for, received and left positive feedback for weeks ago. I have emailed the fella asking for some feedback but not got owt back.

Am I right to be annoyed?

Cheers

Nick

Don`t ask for feedback as you might get some you don`t want. :)

He might leave his feedback in batches, or he might just be an ignorant sod.

If you`re happy with the item, then be happy with it - you bought that not feedback. :)

I must admit, if I`ve not got more stuff on, I sometimes forget to feedback till I next have to log in for something. Just left 4 a few mins ago from the last cheap listing day! :D

I have - at this moment in time - a feedback score of 359 but if everyone I have sold items to or bought from gave me a feedback score I reckon I could be touching about 600 at least! It does get annoying when people dont leave feedback.....I mean how hard can it be? :/

Don`t fret it, so long as you keep your negatives low or nil.

Do you write a letter of thanks to every shop you buy from?

As a rule, I always leave feedback for a buyer as soon as I receive payment.
It bugs me too when feedback isn`t left.

I see feedback in the same light as tipping in restaurants - the better the service the greater the tip, urgo, the more glowing the feedback.

No you sarcy sod, I say thank you at the time of buying the item :)

I just thought eBay was based on the feedback principle, that`s all.

However, if I ever bought anything off you, Brucey, I would send you a little card and a bunch of flowers to show my appreciation :)
