Page 1 of Birthday present suggestions please

Can anyone make a suggestion as to what I could get my fiance for her birthday? She is 24 if that helps.
We have agreed not to spend much this year as we have just bought our first home together but I`m really struggling. I was wondering, since its our first time living together/with someone, about getting her "something for the bedroom" (ie underwear, outfits) but not sure how a girl will react with that as a present! Personally if she got me something that implied sex for my birthday I would be well happy but girls are strange creatures

I would suggest a hand made card with some of her fav chocs a nice bunch of flowers and a meal out followed by some MrMuscle oven cleaner lol

Personally, I would like nice sexy but practical underwear (none of that cheap tacky stuff from Ann Summers) Oh and if the crotch was cut out I would think that was more of a gift for him not me.

I wouldn't like to receive flowers or chocolates unless they are my favourite flowers or favourite chocolates.

I personally don't like expensive presents I like thoughtful presents. (Like cooking my favourite meal. Making a romantic breakfast in bed first thing on the birthday morning.) But thoughtful expensive gifts are the best :-D

Personalised cards I think are cute - you can buy them online,. you pick and choose what goes on the front and inside and then they print them of and send them to you.

I`m with Sminty on this one. Pamper her for a day (do you both have to go to work?)

Breakfast in bed, (followed by work or a day to do as she chooses), candlelit home-cooked dinner with a nice bottle of wine, then give her a soothing massage with scented candles burning around you followed by...you know! ;)

If she doesn`t want a fortune spent, she should be well chuffed with that. If you want to get her a little something - pair of earings perhaps? - offer the gift to her before desert. It will be a complete surprise by then.
