RE: POLL: Should Spurs be granted a replay against West Ham?
Sorry, was trying out the new feature, didn`t realise it makes it into a thread
also that last option was meant to be `Don`t Care`

Sexy!
But, lol, no they shouldnt. If they are I believe Derby Country should be able to replay the 1968 European Cup Semi-Final, against Juventus as the german referee had been bribed.
And we should also be able to replay the game against Wimbledon when the floodlights were nobbled by a betting syndicate.
Way I figure it, with those two, we would be champions of Europe and probably safe, mid table in the premier league.
What im listening to (if youre interested)

Seems an apt topic to me. :)
Grats on being the first to work it out.

No,
If they do though can Leeds replay the 1975 European Cup Final? The referee was bribed, let Munich win the game and was later sacked
Also can we re-play this season with Richard Cresswell and Steve Stone (2 of our best players who have been injured for most of the season). Had they not been out we could have finished 2nd and not had to endure the nail biting play offs.

Great feature RJS, I remember whenever we had polls before it always had a new thread starting about it anyway, this new feature`s a good amalgamation of the two
On Topic: No they should not be granted a replay, the game was played and its done and dusted in my books, but... The original game should have been postponed, it was a rare situation that left Spurs without any contingency plan.
I think the fact that David Dein is with the FA and with Arsenal is a massive conflict of interest and he should pick one and stay there, it`ll stop people coming up with the inevitable conspiracy theories

While we are at it can we have a replay of our foray in to the uafa cup against Athaletico madrid in 97 as the ref was so s***e/bungged that he was removed from the refs list.
Dr 42%er.
It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....
RE: POLL: Should Spurs be granted a replay against West Ham?
Can we have a replay of the past two seasons then cause Chelsea cheated and bought the premiership ;)

To be honest, I never thought we should get a replay. It didn`t feel right.
But I think some people are missing the point; we were in a position where we had to play a weakened team on the day. All we asked for was 24 hours so they could get themselves better. Basically, we didn`t really have an option but to play a team that included 10 sick players that had suffered all night and most of the day with food poisoning. Fair enough if it had happened the day before, but it was on the day of the game.
