Ebay problem, claiming fee`s back due to Deadbeat bidders ?

MADTheOgster (Elite Donator) posted this on Tuesday, 28th February 2006, 21:07

not for me this one,,

a friend of mine listed a phone on ebay, in the description he said U.K. BIDDERS ONLY, I WILL NOT POST OUTSIDE THE UK

but of course the scammers don`t realy care & they have ended his auction by clicking "buy it now" i`ve told him to alter his profille "re=" bidders with negs, registered outside the uk etc etc etc, but can he claim his fee`s back for the two auctions that where spoilt ? i`m sure you can but i`m struggling to find the link......

thanks in advance...

I had the same problem with scammers twice who registered on the day to B I N. Don,t
expect any help from E-bay.I beleive you will get 1 refund of FV fees. When you relist they will refund relisting fees.
Good luck.

My dad owns his own business and sells on Ebay. He was listing 20 items a week, and only half would ever pay. He now only sells occasionally because it was more hassle than it was worth.

Claiming FVF's back is a long process. Ebay don't seem to care who they let register as long as they're making money.

If you want just UK bidders, there's a sellers option to block people from outside the UK (one of the few useful block options).
