Page 1 of FAO Everyone (especially parents!)...

Hey guys -

I`m not been "forced" to do this by the Mods - I`d just like to publicly apologise though if anyone found any of my "baby" posts offensive - believe me, that was not the intention. I guess with me not being a parent, I don`t (can`t) realise how rude and offensive things can come accross - for me, it`s just having a laugh on the internet, but for others/parents it can be taken as offensive and quite hurtful (sorry...).

In future, I will try not to post any negative opinions/comments on baby posts etc. - I can see how controversial they can come accross and there`s really no need for them. If any of you see me "at it", you have my permission to call me nasty names and give me a big cyber-slap! ;)

I hope we can all be friends.... :x :D

I hope that the above comments are heartfelt, and not just an attempt to get off the hook (I believe it is the former).

If so, as a parent - although not one that you insulted personally - well said.

Hulk, personally I found your comments a tongue in cheek laugh...but then I`m a parent of 23 years standing & I actually think my daughter was far more gorgeous when born than she is now (please don`t tell her!). I might have been a mite upset 23 years ago but not now, perhaps it`s a perspective thing & not just a `if you were a parent you`d understand thing`

I didn`t get involved with the initial controversy as I didn`t feel it was too big a deal even though the comment was tactless but this is a welcome gesture. :)
