Page 1 of Is Reviewer a mini community?

I like to think that with each personal post (babies, crisis, congratulations etc) .. this place becomes more like a community in cyber-microcosm .. and I welcome such posts as they humanise members and add to the harmony of the board..

does anyone agree.. or do they prefer to keep their cyber existance at arms length and enjoy only threads regarding DVDs and hardware?

Haggis I`m totally with you on this one.......

When I`m doing my everyday stuff frequently i think to myself

"I wonder what the reviewer lot would think of this"

or

"I cant wait to post about [insert subject here]

but my most frequent thought is

"I wonder when i`m gonna meet the reviewer lot?"

I`d love to meet some of the regulars - Haggis, Ogster, Wossname, XfilesGurly, Batavia RJS, SJ, Choagy, Chewie *ahem [edit cos i forgot their names the first time] Rassilon, Si & Sade, Ben Franklin, The Vegetarian Hulk.....even Bowfer!

I`ve also made a new friend in JonnyTV who has very kindly designed my website for me *ahem still need to pay him for it* ahem

Hey,Nice post Mr Haggis.Good to see a nice positive post.As said in a recent thread.....a get to gether would probably be dominated by slightly overweight,slightly balding, bespectacled sorts (of which I`m one) :B

I agree with both of you and echo Neil`s thoughts. It`s strange having `friends` who you know very little about and have never even met or spoken to!

Agreed. I don`t visit many sites regularly, but this one is always a must. Even if I don`t post incredibly regularly (and I stay out of the heated General Forum debates) I`m always reading through the forums here.

If I have any questions and I`m not sure who to ask, I`ll always think of coming here. :D
