i just bought aiwa 370,,what would u choose? lol
lo all.. so far in the last 3 weeks i have purchassed 3 players... first was the minato G1 from tescos.. which let me tell u is a crackin player for the price,,but,, as all men r,, i wasnt satisfied,, and the allure of the M5 was to strong... so i swapped..NOOOOOOOO!!!! worst thing i EVER did,,, the M5 is toss, utter shagnasty pile of p***... problems all over the shop so back that went and i didnt want to risk another M5 .. which brings me to my current dilema... after much umming and ahhing.. i finaly today purchased the aiwa 370... just before i noticed the pioneer 535 and 350(i think its 350) so.. i now have 14 days grace to decide whether to keep the aiwa or take it back to richer sounds to swap for one of the pioneers..PLZ COULD EVERYONE WITH A PIONT OF VIEW ON ANY OF THESES PLAYERS (good or bad comments) plz let me know.. so i can make an informed discision what to do...keep or swap.. :0)
Thnx alot for any time u have spent helping........Chivalry

RE: i just bought aiwa 370,,should i KEEP!!!!
This is obviously our wind up posting for the week! Lol
How can anyone say "Should I keep my Aiwa" ::grin::
Anyways, simple answer is here: http://choosefirst.co.uk and there should be lotsa stuff between there and Troll`s LG 3350 site to keep ya interested :o)

RE: i just bought aiwa 370,,what would u choose? lol
Why I`m on my second Pioneer:
- Image clarity, sharpness, quality
- Sound quality, definition
- Quality of construction, features, solid and serious product
- On the cons side, their remote controls are not the most user friendly, but you get used to it.
My first was a DV 414, which I kept for one and a half years. Looking for a sound improvement without filling my space with separate units, I recently bought the Pioneer HTZ 55DV (NS 55DV in Europe) Home Theatre In Box.
I really loved the way Pioneer entered the DVD bandwagon. I believe, for what I`ve seen, they produce the best sound/image of every price range they enter. You can`t go wrong with it.
If I were you, I`d certainly get the Pioneer.
The day they put on the market a progressive scan Home Theatre In Box, that`ll be my third Pioneer DVD.
Good Luck,
José Azevedo

any other opinions?

José has it spot on. Pioneer every time.
Am I right in thinking you are from good old Leicester. If so please come along to Sevenoaks on Loseby Lane and see what we have got.
Sorry no Aiwa`s though! lol.
All the best,
Andrew.

No Chance!!
Search the site for Aiwa 370 or LG 3350 and that answers your question for you!
I have had the following:
Samsung 709 (x2)
Pioneer 525
Limit JDV300
REC 3000
Aiwa 370
LG 2280 (still awaiting a firmware chip!)
LG 3350
Pioneer DVD Rom
Sony DDU220 DVD ROM
Toshiba DVD Rom
Currently I still have: The 3350, the LG 2280 (Damn chip!!), Pioner Rom (in this PC) and the Tosh Rom (Laptop)
Why have I changed the Aiwa for the LG? Simple, same player, a few extra features and it has a macro mod.
The truth is, if it didn`t have the macro mod, I`d have kept the Aiwa.
The Aiwa and LG`s are far suprerior in most respects to the others mentioned, but the Pioneer is a good machine.
By the way...I`m in the trade ;o)

cheers mate - I was given the price of £199-00 which seemed to be about right..
I might just pop out and buy this at the weekend..
reading the reviews, I have mixed feelings about this machine - however, it will be the first DVD I`ve bought and will probably do me for what I want it for..
thanks again
