Doctor Who and Sky Plus conspiracy!!

Ok - out of the three episodes of Doctor Who that I`ve set Sky Plus to record, it has so far only recorded the 2nd episode! The first episode said "recorded", but recorded one of the sports channels instead - DESPITE the rest of my family watching Doctor Who on Sky 101 !? The 2nd episode recorded alright (but I was watching it at the same time). Then, I go to watch last night`s episode - and nothing - no sign of Doctor Who anywhere (no FAILED etc)!? I even double checked my Sky Plus bookings before I went out!

This is the only programme I have had problems with on Sky Plus - everything usually works perfectly! It`s a conspiracy I tells ya! It`s that damn Michael Grade interfering with the broadcast signals!!

Seriously though, has anybody else had any problems with Sky Plus and Doctor Who (on Saturdays)? It`s a good job it`s repeated on BBC 3 !!

Well, I`ve not got Sky+, but the first episode I was out, and I`m still waiting for my friend to let me know if she`s got it on tape, so I was putting the other episodes on video so I could put them all onto dvd in the right order, and last night I ran out of tape 5 minutes before the end!! It is a timelord conspiracy :D

Funny thing, my GF recorded last nights on my DVR off the cable channel and for some reason it stopped recording after 14mins and the record button stopped working. Will try again to record it tonight as she will be watching emmerdale & corrie.

it was to do with the wedding running over time.. BBC had to shuffle programming around and as result several incorrect signals were sent to SKY EPG.. a signal was sent at 7.14pm which for some.. updated the info.. and for others like me.. stopped recording and removed the entry...

cheers BBC!

So all your problems have been caused by a wedding no-one could give a stuff about?

It was still showing Strictly Dancing (whatever it is) on the EPG until 7.14 , while Dr Who started on schedule at 7.
I thought I must have had forgotten to set Sky+ to record beforehand when I realised just after 7pm that the red light hadn`t come on. I the found it impossible to get it to start recording until 7.15pm. It then showed itself as recording both DrWho and Dancing at the same time (and as I was recording another channel at the same time it appeared I had 3 recordings going at once - however both BBC1 recordings failed).

My first thought was that this must be a conspiracy!

I managed to record from BBC3 this eveining instead - watching it now .
