Just thought i would confirm that this is NOT a region encoded disc (works fine on both my player and my brother`s, the latter unable to play any of my other RCE discs without a remote hack), just in case anyone has hesitated in buying the region 1 copy. On play 247 it still says its region encoded which is why i posted this.

received this a couple of days ago and WOW! ther transfer is great, the sound fantastic and really cool menus. and as for Ziyi Zhang. oh my lord she is fecking marvellous!!!!!

I couldn`t agree further with you elephant stone (although i wish they had a mandarin dolby surround track rather than an english one, as i have a pro logic tv and can`t stand english dubbing!!!)
