just had this argument,so i thought i let everybody here their views on it.
Is wrong for a married woman to go out clubbing until the small hours on friday night with her friends.
I thought it was a stone age attitude to say yes it is wrong.

My gf occasionaly goes out with her work mates wihtout me, which is fine, in the same way as if I want to go to a gig, that she doesn`t I go without her.

Nothing wrogn with that at all, `cos we both trust each other, no point in us both going clubbing/going to a gig together if only 1 of us will enjoy it!

Besides, while 1 is out the other can control the TV ;)

Too vague a question.
There are too many variables to answer it with a yes or no.

For example;

Happily married woman with kids and husband at home looking after them = No
Married,but still behaving like she`s single,slapper out on the pull = Yes

Inherently though,there is nothing wrong with it.
However,perhaps the question should be why does the woman want to.
Speaking on behalf of my wife,and her friends,I can say they don`t feel the need to go to clubs until the wee small hours.They`re quite happy going for a meal and having a good old chinwag in the restaurant.

I keep taunting my GF, telling her that as soon as we are married she will be my property and she will have to do what i say. In the eyes of the law I will own her.

But aside from teasing the Mrs, if it was a night out with the girls, you would have to be a bit of a twat to put your foot down. And to play the marriage card is also lame. I have to keep reminding my dad that women are no longer goods to be bartered and by forbidding my mum to do things he just makes himself look like a gimp.

But if she was a tricia wife, going out and getting leathered every night and pulling blokes, then yeah, he would be well within his rights.

As bowfer says, more info needed.

EDIT: Just read your new post. Women go out to have a good time. Most groups of girls i know find blokes a total hassle when they are out and is the reason why a lot of women are ditching trad clubland for gaybars. Lecherous ball bags are the reason why the call of the lonely man is now getting worse; `Blimey, theres not much skirt in here`.

The wife and i are on the verge of splitting up after only 6 months.
Without going into our personal lives too much,she never liked clubbing until she met her bosses daughter and they went out ,she had great time.
The wife then decided that she wanted to go clubbing on a regular basis (once a month) which i had no problems with.
Since the married fell apart (saturday morning) friends and family have been giving me support until i mention her clubbing and everybody seems to pull a face like she`s looking for a another bloke or another life.

BTW we both are doing a lot of talking to each other and HOPEFULLY will be able to sort out the problems maybe save the marriage.
