I would say Gazza...most would disagree but I am going on talent and vision of the game...didnt really have time to show his full potential due to injury,being Chris Evans friend and the booze... but still the greatest I thinks

This should be named England`s BEST footballer.......there have certainly been no GREAT ones since the 80`s onwards! ;)

Still remember being in pub Sunday afternoon when Gazza scored that amazing goal with a free kick. Think he was playing for Tottenham(FA Cup semi final against Arsenal ?) - how long ago was that !
Yeah I`d agree with Gazza - if anyone could have been great it was him.

If we`re including foreigners in the English game, then yes, there would be stiff competition from Henry, Zola and Bergkamp.
