Looking for a DVD

sjf (Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 14th September 2000, 21:59

Hope you can help me out there ?
I am looking to buy my first dvd and want a muilti region one (US & UK).
(I do not have buckets of money) I have £200 so I have put it down to three.
1. Alba DVD103 (argos)
2. Bush DVD 2006 (not sure if this can be muilti-region) (argos)
3. Daewoo DQD200 (not sure if this can be muilti-region) (argos)
4. Whalfdale 750 (tesco)
If anyone can tell which one is the best from above or know of any better one`s please let me know.
I do not want to chip it.

Wharfdale 750 is the old model and has some bugs,

Wharfdale 750s is the new model, it has a totally new chipset, improved performance, multi region via remote, said to play the discs that the older version couldn`t, has official DTS support.

I would wait until some reviews of the new Wharfdale 750s have been released. Just in case it has any new bugs
