Mobile Phone problem with PHONES 4u Can anyone give me any advice

Hi.

Can anyone give me any advice on the following.

My son bought a NEC c313 mobile phone from PHONES 4u, with a 28 day
warranty, and on the 26th day the phone would not charge, anyway took it back to the shop and they palmed me off saying the pins were bent in the phone, and
there was nothing they would do etc. but his friend had the same phone, so he charged the battery.

Anyway on the day after the 28 day warranty expired, the phone as stopped working all together, went back to the shop. not their problem don`t want to know.

So i would be grateful if anyone could give me any advice, as i think i`ve had a
raw deal.

A 28 day warranty? Sounds suspect to me, was the phone new or second hand?

How was it paid for? Cash, debit or credit card. If credit card you can claim against the CC company as its a "credit" agreement.

Certainly I think Trading Standards should be contacted with regard to your legal rights.

I ig ig ig ig ig ig ignore the phone the whole day through
To surf surf surf surf surf surf surf the net is what I really like to do
It ain`t no trick to get rich quick
If you contract out your outsourcing
Its all mine! Its all mine! Its all mine! Its all mine!
And a million users whine!

I ig ig ig ig ig ig ignore the phone the whole day through
To surf surf surf surf surf surf surf the net is what I really like to do
We delete user`s data by the score
A thousand profiles, sometimes more
But we don`t care why we wipe `em for
I ig ig ig ig ig ig ignore the phone the whole day through

I owe, I owe,
I owe, I owe,
I owe,

Its back to work I go.

demand a replacement... you are entitled to one, if not contact trading standards, i have had two phones from them in the past, never ever again, infact bought another today from vodaphone, because of the poor service from phones4U/Singlepoint!
