Playing CDR+CDRW`s on DVD Players That DONT normally support these DISCS !!!
I Have a Toshiba SD-3109B DVD player that normally wont accept CDR or CD/RW Discs, until now that is, in the past any audio cd`s that i have copied WONT play on my dvd player, ie the disc will not be detected correctly. But by copying Audios cd`s with Nero v5.5 bot CDR & CD/RW work brilliantly without any problems (At last !!!), I would imagine this would also work for other DVD players that wont accept CDR & CD/RW e-mail me if you want the www address for the download + crack !!!

Steve,
Are you 100% certain that it`s not the type of blank media that you`re using?
What was the burn speed that you copied the CD`s with?
This should be very interesting for owners of samsungs etc...

I Have always used the same media, Maxell CD-R and CD-rw (Silver type), using version 4 of nero was the first time i managed to get my toshiba to recognise an audio cd although it was very bad quality!, however version 5 sounds great ... i always use a burn speed of 1x
Regards
Steve

Any chance of this working with a Proline DVD-1000?
Would be damn nice.

I have e-mail you, Steve but you have not replyed?

It has nothing to do with the burning software as this doesn`t affect the ability of the laser to actually see the disc. It is down to the media used. The same make of disc can have different substrates even though the designation is the same, silver traxdata being a prime example.
For a disc that works on quite a few players (including Tosh) try using the `Thats Write 80min 1-8 speed CD-R`. http://www.thats.net

What`s wrong with the Silver Traxdata, Chris?
Now I think of it I`ve had a few problems with those!!

There were two types of Traxdata Silver I found, both on sale at the same time. One type would work on a Samsung 709 the other wouldn`t. The difference was in the colour of the disc (which depends on the substrate) - unfortunately you couldn`t tell which you got until you opened the packet :-(.
The packaging on both was identical.

I tried the www.thats.net link, and could only find product information. There was no sales facility. I e-mailed the company, and they would only trade with wholesalers.Does anyone know where i can buy these cdr`s in the UK.
