Not only is there a choice of output formats, but also incorporated is "Freedb" which searches and name tags your albums and tracks when selected....

Help !! .... IPOD question from a novice.....

Due to all the publicity and favourable reviews, I am currently looking to buy an IPOD .... However, what I would like to know is, will the included software allow me to transfer mp3 files that are already on my hard drive (both downloaded + ripped), or does the whole ripping/downloading process have to be carried out using thge i-tunes software...

I already have in excess of a 1000 tracks burnt to mp3 , and would rather hope that I could just drag and drop them into the supplied software.....Is this the case ???

If not, does anyone know how I can download these to an ipod ???

HELP !! ..... MIDI Sampler/Surgeon required for creating Nokia Ringtones

Does anyone know of, or can anyone suggest a program for trimming/sampling from existing MIDI files in order to create ringtone loops for Nokia phones (3100/6100) ..... I have a number of complete tracks in MIDI format, but would like to sample smaller chorus sequences etc to use on my phone...... A program similar to mp3 surgeon would be ideal ... all suggestions welcome......8-))

In the US Spalding are Wilson`s main competitor.....and the message from the film implies Wilson = Good guy, Spalding = Bad guy......

Selling on E-Bay ???.....................BEWARE !!!

Just a cautionary note.......... I recently received a Region 1 copy OF "Sum of All Fears" from MOVIETYME.COM.

This was a pre-ordered title, and was received early. I duly watched the disc with my family, and , not being overly impressed, listed it for sale on E-Bay.

Without realising it, the official release date was a week hence......

End result = E-bay cancelled my auction, and I have just received an e-mail from a firm of Beverly Hills lawyers informing me that Paramount pictures intend to take a lawsuit out against me !!!!

Bought loads and loads from them......absolutely first rate, especially their special offers (fight club for £7 equivalent!)........R4 discs are also PAL, slightly better picture than R1 NTSC..........

I have just had an auction for "the sum of all fears" R1 DVD terminated early by e-bay. I was selling the disc as used and viewed once.

According to e-bay, Paramount Pictures complained that I had infringed their "rights".....!!

Bearing in mind that I had purchased the disc online from www.play.com , and that all UK taxes, duties and postage had been paid ; why can I not sell the disc on as second hand goods as I am the legal owner ??

E-Bay referred me to their VeRO "about me" pages, but unfortunately, Paramount weren`t listed.

Has anyone got any idea what infringement I`ve committed ???

The scam goes like this, when your fags arrive, there is an extortionate customs bill, which, if you are able to do the math, you will refuse to pay.This results in the goods (in this case fags) being returned to sender........When you contact the sender for a refund, they blame you and refuse to refund your cash.

end result= they keep your cash + any returned goods as well

nice work if you can get it !!!!!

NB...notice that most of these are based in eastern european countries....

Go to www.multiregion.co.uk ... They sell DVD player "friendly" CDR discs that will play on nearly all players (inc.Tosh+Sony)... they`re made by "That`s write" and are pro quality......
FYI ... believe it or not,its the colour of the disc which makes a difference as to whether your player can read it

If you know the direct dial up telephone no. for your ISP, then all you have to do is to set up a manual dial-up icon on your desk top. you can do this usually from within your "accessories" menu (it is normally an option listed undercommunications).
Either follow the instructions on the dial-up wizard option, if you have one, or select "create new connection".........you will know your user name and password, and this should be enough for you to gain access to your existing account
