I just don`t wanna get hammered by customs is all!

Thats what worried me,dont customs slap some charge on if it`s more than one disc?...also they like opening things has well.

I want to order the Buffy the Vampire Slayer boxsets, Seasons 1 & 2 but, if they send them together, I just KNOW I`m gonna get hammered by customs, (sigh)
£51.39 (at current exchange rates) £60.64 with delivery for both boxsets, THAT is a bargain, just gotta weigh up my chances is all...

I ordered terminator 2 ultimate edition dvd, forbidden planet and from dusk till dawn 3 region 1 and i didnt get charged and the box wasnt opened when it arrived

Longsightboy I have in the past orderd fro ezydvd and delivery is normally in 4 day`s,but I have never orderd a box set because of custom`s,I think just take a chance-or sent them an e.mail and ask them if they put the full price on the outside of the box,it`s got to be worth that.

You can work out the actual charge if you get hit by multiplying the GBP cost first by 1.035 (Duty), and then multiplying that result by 1.175 (VAT):-
(Price*1.035)*1.175
Here`s an example I posted in the Alien Boxset thread on the Bargain Buckets forum:-
Those nice people at Ezy DVD will send it to you for Aus$123.47 including shipping :-
This works out at about £43.40 at current rates. The only concern here is that you might have to pay customs charges if it gets stopped. My calculations put the cost after duty and VAT at £52.78, plus any Post Office handling fee.
So you can have it for £43.40 if you`re lucky and £52.78 if you`re unlucky.
