Shifting, erm, Number Twos that are stuck in the loo...

I laid myself a monster cable earlier and the thing won`t shuffle off quietly to its watery grave.

Anyone know of any painless ways of shifting the aforementioned blockage without (as the security guard at work poignantly put it) having to stab a broom handle down the pan and wrestle with the thing like an alligator ?

toilet brush, then leave the brush head in the pan as you flush it clean (several times, no doubt)

To sh[freudian slip edited out]it err I mean shift a blocked loo, I was told to empty a full bucket of water hard & fast from as high as you could into the pan, be careful of spillage.

PS This technique may not cover the sort of blockage situation you currently have.

The easiest way is to get out as fast as possible and blame someone else :o but if it was a home birth then try marigold gloves and strangle it, if you choose this method DO NOT wipe your brow , scratch your nose etc after completing the job until you have removed the gloves and given your hands a very good wash.

Neiliboy - You just wait for the first few nappies......a nice unpleasant shade of green (both you & the nappies contents) when your good lady asks you to change the babe.

Pour in a bucket of boiling water, it should help dissolve the beast.

Not keen on the tooth or toilet brush methods - this thing is a dangerous beast about a foot long, I tells ya, and I ain`t getting close to it....

I`ll certainly give wd423`s method a go, though - off to boil a kettle :D

Thanks for the readers top tips - very helpful ;)
