The "Crouching Tiger" saga is over!, for me atleast - Cheers Ben!

Ben,

Thanks for your suggestion re "dvdasia", I received my copy of HDCT yesterday morning - One week after ordering!

Have since cancelled my outstanding order (over 6 weeks) with Movietyme.

When I did this, they replied to my e-mail in less than an hour, despite refusal to reply when quizzed over disc tracking!

This reply read:

"No problem, all out anyway, sorry!"

I suspect that is not an attempted apology, but rather a sarcastic dig at one of the many fools that trusted them to fulfil their obligation to a customer.

Regardless to say, I will never use them again.

In fact, I will be going out of my way to dissuade anyone that shows interest in using them.

Thanks for listening!

S`ok Carlito, glad to be of assistance!

No probs Carlito, all it took was me to sit at my computer for half an hour and search all of the Asian DVD sites to see who would be the best one to use.

And now the question has to be:- Do you think it was worth the fuss over the film? Is it actually as good as you had percieved it to be?

So I`m over at QXL on Sunday night just drifting aimlessly thru some of the DVD lots when I suddenly spotted a CTHD joblot of 10 going in, er....3 minutes...

Hellfire, I`ve never clicked so quick in my life. Jumped over to the lot : 10 on offer, only 8 people bid - price £15, reserve price met !.....going......

Hurriedly tried to locate my password (never bothered using it before !)
Found it on an obscure Lotus spreadsheet I knocked up ages ago, banged it in....arrrrggghhh : doesn`t work.....going......

Clicked on the send e-mail for a reminder password. Comes straight thru, just about to hit the send button when I realise there are 2 seconds left...hit enter.......gone......

Missed it by seconds.

As Unlucky Alf (Fast Show character) would say in a Northern accent.....
