Not the MiCO if you want filenames or fast searching or random thingamy.

It will however play the full range 32 - 320 kb/s. I only know of one other player that will do this... Aiwa 370.

MiCO also plays VBR and sample rates down to 22,050. Doesnt matter what characters you use in the filename either. As long as a PC will take it, the MiCO will too.
999 tracks in over 63 directories. Recursive directories are searched too.

actually for this it could be the scan or possibly the Yelo!

yes yelo as it had FF/FR capabilities long before the scan.

The Hitachi 505 can have upto 999 files inside 999 directories it reads 64k -> 320k BR although I do not believe it will do VBR or Fast Searching through tracks, it will allow you to make multisession CDR`s though.
