Hi Guys,
Hows this for crap customer service. Yesterday afternoon we lost all cable channels. I tried all the usual fixes unplugging the system etc but to no avail. So I phoned up and was told that the earliest they could get an engineer out to us was Monday between 12-5pm. 5 days that is totally out of order and they had the cheek to say if we werent in when they called they would bill us £50 for wasting time!
The service from them of late has been so bad, picture constant freezing, lip sync problems and total loss of service for serveral hours. With no compensation what so ever even after asking bluntly for it.
I am so p***ed off at the moment -
Any guys have any ideas as to what I can do?
Can`t you go to Sky?

A good lie to tell them is you`ve contacted BBC Watchdog and their considering running a piece on it. Worked when I had trouble with Vodafone.

I got rid of NTL after 1 year of appaling service.
I eventually had to goOFTEL and then the welsh version of OFTEL as well to get rid of them. I kid you not, an NTL advisor told me.. and I quote.. "Perhaps your not pschologically ready to make the decision to cancel with us.) :o

the only thing i would have from cable is broadband, i had nothing but trouble with the tv service and as you say when things go wrong customer services are utterly useless

i had nothing but trouble with ntl and it took over a year 4 them 2 collect there box"s now with sky so far so good.
