What`s the most obscure DVD in your collection?

Jonpy (Competent) posted this on Wednesday, 4th February 2004, 22:08

Following on from Mr McLean`s `Hollywood Blockbuster` thread, I remembered one rather bizarre DVD I bought from DDD House a while ago `because it looked interesting`.

My Life as McDull a Japanese animation. Very odd.

I`d be impressed if anyone else had heard of it, let alone seen it. Anyone?

So what`s the most obscure DVD you have in your collection that you suspect that you`re only one of a select few that have stumbled across it?

J.

Well...I guess nothing to compete with McDull...but ...

`Destroy all Rational Thought` (I produced it...but became an insufferable collaborative effort and ended as a debacle...though I`ve met people who paid good money for it...)

Mmm...Plan 7 from Outer Space (almost as bad as the above...)

:/

Never heard of it

Not Really obscure, but tricky to get hold of, Leon Integral (was tricky until the I heard of CDJapan)

Actually, most obscure One I`ve got is Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective (Interactive DVD) Used to have it on the PS (small grainy windows) but was happy to spot it in HMV

Stantz -- no, no, no -- you`re thinking of the more mainstream one...

(There`s no blushing smiley to insert so this will have to do! :/ )

Yup. It was the film that got Peter Weller the job as Robocop :D
You can pick up a cheap R2 copy. It`s 2.35:1 anamorphic with surround sound. The picture ain`t great but it`s watchable. Really camp, really bad, but damn amusing ;)
