Page 1 of Really stupid question

Hi booked some tickets on a VIRGIN XC train thought they where first class, im in coach A does anyone know if this is the first class coach??? Help please

Well, coach A is probably the first coach of the train as the letter A is the first letter of the alphabet, so the first coach of the train is probably first class.
Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer! :D

With my nerdy traveller hat on, I`d say Coach A probably isn`t a First Class carriage on the Cross Country services - they use Voyager trains on these services, I think, and First Class (actually called Club Class) is in the middle of the train if I remember correctly - have a look for yourself at the VIrgin Trains website here - you can take a tour on the trains :D

Coach A - F are standard class on FGW.

Coach A is first (or `club`) class on the Voyager trains - I got into one once by mistake, and was asked to move to the riff-raff section.

Wish I could afford to travel 1st class, those seats were very comfy...
