you think with all those millions Lucas has, he would of done a decent animation job, instead of this power puff style.

When you consider that Max Steel, Dan Dare and other CGI animated toons are on tv, you think Lucas would of made the cartoon in CGI, and not this cheap knock off?

At least its utter awfulness is consistent with the Droids and Ewoks cartoons from the 1980s.

Hey, the animation style means nothing, its the quality of the cartoons that matter. But I don`t see what you can do with 2-3 minutes a time.

I`ll watch them though :D

I think the style looks quite funky.

If it`s a cartoon, do it as a cartoon. Dan Dare CGI is not needed. If he wanted to do a cartoon that looked like reality, he`d have made another 3 Star Wars films.

Oh, he did didn`t he. :D

But seriously, cartoons shouldn`t look like reality, they SHOLD be very caricaturish, so I think this style is more than appropriate. After all, it`s for kids, right?

How old are you anyway? ;)

And films shouldn`t look like computer games!

Still, can`t be any worse than the film (imho)

Its very cartoony but they look ok.

As a side note I saw that animated Nickelodeon Spiderman series for the first time yesterday and think that animation style looks cool. Perhaps Lucas should have gone for that?

This was known ages ago - at least 3 months ago, when a few pictures emerged looking VERY Samuri Jack!

Take a look at the threepio image - its nigh on identical to the Droids version.

But going on the last few star wars outing, I won`t be banging down doors to see this,

Who else thinks they should make a live action star wars show after all the movie stuff is out of the way. Maybe something about luke skywalker`s jedi academy like from the books, and maybe even guest apperances from mr hamil himself?
I can see it now, 8 o`clock thursday night on Sky one, lots of lighsaber action!
I hope big george reads these forums!!!

Oh gawd...Dawsons Creek with Lightsabers!

Mind you, we probably could do with something to spice up TV now that Buffy is no more, waaah!

Back to the cartoon - never liked the Samurai Jack style at all, now if they`d hired the guys behind the fantastic Ghost In The Shell anime TV series...mmmmm how sweet that would be! But hey they haven`t! :/
