Is the Limit jvd300a any good. Are there any hacks for region free and macrovision. Is Limit jvd300a a label for another dvd make.

Aldi selling same machine under different name, MEDION 7905A.

Price £100.00 .Some stores still selling at £129.00 . Why price difference I dont know, but it suppose to be a good machine. ( look in hardware threads )

iI have had my limit player for a few months now and i am extremely pleased with it.
The picture and sound are both superb and the list of extras is amazing
I am a little confused by a few of the group postings though regarding this players multiregion hack and the subject of macrovision.
The code mentioned in the posts is correct but i set mine to region 0 not ( 9 ) and it autosenses the region.
I have never had any problems with any regions disks and also the macrovision was disabled when i bought the player.
Maybr the aldi`s model is a slightly different model.
Well i would recommend this player to anyone especially when used with a 32inch Philips widescreen tv

How can you tell if the macrovision is disabled?

It also plays MP3 CDR`s.

RCE discs like, Hollow Man & The Patriot (R1) also play without problems on my Limit JDV-300A.

Care to share the multiregion hack with me please? I`m also interested in the Macrovision hack for this. You said it was disabled when you bought it. Where did you get yours?
