Can anyone help me? Been looking around for a descent pair of shades, can anyone recommend a good site that sell Ray Ban, Oakley etc..... Thanks for your help.
as they say in the advert, `should have gone to specsavers?`
What`s the attraction of expensive shades anyway - aren`t you scared they`ll get scratched, or that you`ll get mugged for them?
My sunglasses cost £2.00 at Primark and they`ve never come in wrong. Then again, I`m currently also wearing a Primark T-shirt (£3.00) and Tesco Value jeans (£5.00), so make of that what you will ;-)

i prefer the `Man at Matalan` look myself...
I prefer the 30 year old sunglasses that my grandfather gave to me 20 years ago with electric blue plastic lenses and cheap bendy metal frame that look like the sort of thing an airline pilot would wear. Cost to me = nil. Damage to retinas = infinite. Fashion score = -10 out of 100. Durability = infinite.
My colleagues regularly take the mick, to which I reply "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are flying at 30,000 feet..."

There was a test piece in a magazine about sunglasses and their UV protection, and the £9.99 pair (which, incidentally, looked identical to one of the branded pairs except for the tiny logo on the sides) had the best protection of them all.
Haven`t got a clue where to get sunglasses from though, well not for a cheap price anyway,

Calm down!!! That`s rather a lot of exclamation marks. Anyway, this is the General forum, what do you expect?
Besides, I do actually recommend the Primark shades - I wasn`t just trying to be funny. It`s not my fault if you`re a snob ;-)
