Page 1 of Free e-mail site recommendations?

Can any of you folks recommend a free e-mail site that isn't either Hotmail or Yahoo!... I've just started job hunting and I want to get an e-mail address that's a bit more professional than my current one… but all variations of my name are already used up on Hotmail etc.

for free mail there are the less known options such as email.com etc but freeserve also have their own quite good alternative webmail!

Ive had an account with them for over 4 years though I hardly ever use it. The best thing about it is you get to choose from loads of different endings e.g @london.com or @lawyer.com or even @seductive.com

www.orange.net do a good service - recently upgraded too check out the site.

i would highly recommend orange.net too, and if you have an orange mobile phone you can get free text alerts and the like.

Those text alerts work to my O2 phone, too :o))

Try http://www.SAFe-mail.net - they offer secure email facilities (including drop box deliveries) and total anonymity...
