I bought from www.dvdboxoffice.com after seeing a recommendation from The Ironduke - got a good price on X-Men and it was delivered quickly. Ordered it on it`s own so order value was low - that way customs dont try and charge you import duties etc. dvdboxoffice dont charge for post and packaging so it does not cost any more when buying multiple dvd`s idividually!

Oh, and apparently it`s cheaper to buy in Canadian dollars due to exchange rates!

Hope this helps.

A friend is getting me "Saving Private Ryan" from Whsmith site on Sky for £10.98 delivered. I will have to wait 2 weeks though!

I just bought Sphere and The Negotiator for £15 from my local newsagent!

http://www.dv-depot.com I have ordered a region 1 from here and have found them OK.

http://www.encoredirect.co.uk/ I here these are good, but I have not used them yet

I have just received "Saving Private Ryan" today and have watched the beginning.

It makes me sad to think how much the men suffered and proud of all the men who died for us.

There are bargains to be had in real high street shops at the mo. in the sales:

W.H.Smith, any 3 videos that retail at less than £20 for £40 (which is 3 for the price of 2 in my money). Examples Jaws (anniversary), Das Boot (DC), Jurassic Park (WS), Shakepeare in Love (WS), Bugs Life, Jungle Book, etc.
HMV Clearout at £9.99 some good titles inc. Lock Stock (DC), + 4 for the price of 3 on a wide, but varied range of titles at varying prices.
Virgin, a limited number of £9.99 not so good or recent as HMV`s (IMHO) and 2 for £30 including some of the newest chart DVDs.

For R1 Discs, I go here. It`s a search engine of the major people selling `em.

http://www.dvdesp.com/

Also, try www.closeoutvideo.com. I saved 15 bucks on ONE DVD there. Everyone was selling it for 30 bucks and they sold it for 15. QUICK shipping. They say on their webpage if it`s in stock or not and also sell used DVDs.
