Page 1 of How do you Enter the Service Menu on a Wharfdale CTV-890

Does anyone know How you Enter the Service Menu on a Wharfdale CTV-890/ Bush WS6672 ? 28" Wide screen ?

I have bought the Bush and the Zoom menu`s are missing from the screen formats, with the help of chris on the forum, I have come to the conclusion these 2 TV`s are Exactly the same except from the screen formats ?

The Wharfdale has 4 and the Bush only has 2 4:3 & 16:9

The remote controls are Excatly the same also !

Any help would be great !

Someone must know something ? ok I know its not a TV Forum !

Thanks for the reply - I have read it but the Wharfedale remote is different to the Bush remote. Would swapping to a Wharfedale remote make the Bush set operate in these modes (I know the boxes look the same but are the TV chassis the same)?

This patch is for the 850 which is a totaly diffrent TV

It is the CTV-890 and the Bush that are the same, and they both share the same remote control ! I have some pic`s of the 890

Just phones bush - and I to got a dizzy blond, but will ring back later, she did say they had had alot of complanets, so maybe if I ring back later they maybe forced to come up with a fix.

I would be really very grateful. The TV seems good (nice sharp picture with good colourt and contrast) but this WS thing spoils it.

If not they will be going back to aldi, and I will go to Tescos and buy the Wharefdale M8 which is the same only in silver and had 4 screen modes !!!
