Ok I have seen it mentioned 50 or more times that people think this DVD player is Pants.
My sister in law got one for xmas and she has asked my opinion. Well I had to be polite about it but........
It is pants aas far as I can tell.
I here it doesn`t play RCE is that right?
She ordered Holow Man from the states and It is RCE will she have to send it back?
Is the best thing she can do with this play is to take a baseball bat to it. or take it back to ASDA and stick it sidie ways up the sales repps arse and set fire to it?

yep sorry to say this player is a load of s*** and your right hollow man won`t play and a lot of other disks have probs with the player tell her to take it back to asda and get next years turkey with the refund. get an ENCORE and don`t listen to the following post by a madman called Ironduke he has just realised his hitachi won`t play any of the gay dvd`s he just bought.

In truth the Alba 103 has been superceded by the Alba 104, so I don`t know whether the RCE thing has been ironed out or not. All I do know, from reading posts on forums such as these, is that the 103, along with the Wharfey 750, is the most-complained about player.
