comet are s***ty arseholes, went in on Tuesday and told them about the silver players and that their database only shows gold but the guy still went to the computer and said "sorry we only have the gold" to which I said, I (f***ing...under breath) know but is there anyway you could check what you have in stock,,"sorry all I`m showing is gold, I (f***ing....under breath a little louder) know but could you check what you have in store. No can`t do that, I`ll ring another store, nope they`re only showing gold as well, AAAAAAARRRRGGHHHHHHHHHH TOSSER. Come back tomorrow Sir and we will ring the buyers for you, so I went back yesterday and spoke to a different guy, guess what he did, yep...looked on the computer and said "we only have the gold one" after I picked him up I said I was told they would ring the buyers today, his reply was , "we can`t ring the buyers as they wouldn`t know".
What a bunch of absolute w***ers. If anyone wants a champagne AIWA Preston area Comets have them but don`t buy because they are TOSSERS. Know anywhere else I can get one Jimbo, then I can smash it up in the garden :-)

Buy a Sony or a Pioneer then , bet they do silver!

I like both of those things but not on a DVD player. Does the Pioneer or Sony do all that the Aiwa does??? and which ones? and don`t say I can get one from Comet......

Have you actually looked at the `gold` model? It`s silver (ok a very slight tint of gold) but I bet if noone told you there was a gold model you would have thought it was silver.

Unless I`m comletely mistaken and there is actually a gold looking gold model ;-/ But mine says `N` for gold on the box but it`s pretty much silver!

I noticed that the 370 in Comet was champagne the first time I saw it and if there are more coming in March I`m prepared to wait.
I WANT A SILVER ONE
No Toy car I haven`t taken anything back to Comet thats why I won`t buy the champagne one only to put it ontop of my silver video and find out it looks crap, if it was Argos I would already have bought it amd maybe kept it.

Well, Poncho, my "Gold" player is sitting right next to my SILVER telly, and it looks LIGHTER and more silvery than the telly does!!!

It`s the SIDE casing that has the tinge of gold, so buy the damn thing! lol
