Can you please look at the past post.

I am starting to get fed up of seeing the same question over and over again on this forum.

Sorry to be a bit harsh

Here we go again! lol
FIRSTLY!!
Look at my site!

SECONDLY!!!
>>"can it be hacked?">"macrovision dissabled ?">"play cd-rw ?">"has it got a built in converter ?">"anybody experienced any problems with this machine?"<<

Yeah, me...it won`t make me a cup of tea in the morning! lol
Seriously, no, no one has reported a serious problem yet, only little niggly ones like the player doesn`t have "resume from power off" option and so on.

Its the BEST player I have had out of seven I`ve owned, and out of another TWELVE I`ve recently tested in store! :o)

Buy it! (If you can find one that is..but don`t tell Poncho if it`s Silver!)

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!

Sir

I just put a post in the Hardware forum about the two faulty Aiwas I had from Comet. i wouldn`t buy.

Also, the Aiwa mini-HIFI I boought from Littlewoods last year has had the CD part pack-up, so won`t play CD`s any more (it just spins the disc for a few seconds and then stops). The repairers said it is not worth repairing (paid £189 just over a year ago!!). I won`t buy anyting Aiwa again. Stick to a name like Sony or Toshiba.

Allright, but first to Bernie..unlucky old chap, but thats the FIRST I`ve heard of LOADS of Aiwa DVD`s being faulty.
and Aiwa hifi is well known for having crud laser units which fail between 6 and 9 months, ie: don`t read discs.
The DVD laser is an LG, and they have almost no problems!

Now, the SIX previous players:

1) REC 3000: No hack available, and VERY bad layer pauses..returned & refunded
2) Samsung 709: VERY low sound output..returned and refunded
3) Limit JDV 300: Absolute piece of crud! returned after 20 minutes and replaced with another Sammy, returned next day for not reading
4) Samsung 709: Ok for about 2 months, then laser unit went, returned and replaced
5) Pioneer 525: Made noises like a helicopter and scraped disc, returned & refunded
6) LG 2280 :Region 2 only, and buggered replacing a firmware chip..unusable until new chip arrives, so the Aiwa was supposed to be a stop gap measure.

Then came the Aiwa. Remember I have access to loads of players at work, and I still recommend the Aiwa 370 or the LG 3350 (same machine with slight differences)

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!

Gawds Sake!

How many times do I need to post this?

YES Aiwa vcr`s are crap, made by third party manufacturers..(unlees you go top of the range)

YES Aiwa hifi`s have crud laser units that fail between 6 and 9 months in general,

BUT THE 370 IS AN LG 3350 WITH SOME COMPONENTS REMOVED, AND VCD PLAYBACK ADDED!!!

Technically, it ISN`T actually an Aiwa!!!

And LG are well known for reliability on DVD!!
Anyways...up to you guys..buy whatever you like, but I`ve enough experience to know a good product when I see it!

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!
