Is it possible to use my normal printer to print images/text on to acetate sheets or do you need something special to do it ??

Depends what kind of printer it is. If it`s a laser you`ll have no problem (just use the normal acetates made for photocopiers), but if it`s an inkjet you`ll need special acetates intended for inkjet use.
