If you`re after a freebie tool, XXCopy (from http://www.xxcopy.com) will do the job. I`ve used it for cloning Win98 installations before and it works perfectly.

Make sure you read the cloning instructions at:

http://www.xxcopy.com/xxcopy10.htm

which explains how to transfer your Windows installation from one drive to another.

Alternatively, pick up a cheap OEM copy of Ghost, which is excellent, simple and reliable - mirror one drive to a second with no hassle.

But it might be a good time to put a new win98 build onto your new drive. Then it will be running without all the junk that builds up over time. And then transfer any data you want to keep afterwards. It`ll run a lot better. At least for a few days.

Failing the other suggestions why not just daisy chain both drives and simply use the original as the master.
Only thing you would have to do is make sure the jumpers (Tiny plastic connectors on the back of the drives) on both drives jumpers settings are set to:- Master for the original and Slave for the new one.
You might have to change your BIOS settings by pressing delete a few times just after starting up the system. Then enter the menu that has the Auto-detect Hard drives (Advanced CMOS setup ? ).Think that should be it.Other members will be a bit more knowledgable than me so they might point out any errors I`ve posted.
HTH :-)
