I know I recommended Pipex, but...

...their system has collapsed yet again. This seems to be occurring rather too regularly for my liking.

It seems to be affecting all users on the Xtreme pipe, nationwide.

Anyone on Pipex here who`s getting a little bit fed up ?

Life on a 56K dial-up is too harsh, man...

ntl may end up getting some more business from me at this rate :-(

As much as I hate paying the extra for BT I`ve been on it for 10 months now and it`s never been down once for me!

Bah ! Even more annoyingly, some people are getting back on now. But me ? No, I`m still using a clockwork key to connect at the moment, evn after rebooting several times.

Me so angry (harumph)...

I`ve just managed to get on.
One thing about Pipex that really pi*ses me off is that when the service goes down they don`t update their network status page.

Maybe I was lucky to get conencted. I`m not going to test it by disconnecting and attempting to reconnect.

I managed to get back on at 8pm last night. It was very annoying not knowing what was going on until they updated the network status pages. I agree 56K is really bad in comparison. Hopefully, all the little problems will get resolved. Has anyone else noticed that they have been cut off intermittently over the last 4 weeks?

You were one of the lucky ones, James : I didn`t get back on until 10 pm :-(

I had some bother saturday night but not for long.

Have you seen a site called "pipexwoe" or something like that. Probably better than Pipex`s service page.

The site url is http://www.pipexwoe.org.uk
I find the Pipex forum on http://www.adslguide.org.uk more useful as there is a lot of members. So if theres a problem on the network it`ll be posted there.

I know this isn`t an excuse for Pipex, but my friend on the Telewest broadband service is having problems with dropped connections. Not just us Pipex users being messed about.
