Hello Nelley.. Might not be a good idea... But here we go..
Why not have a forum on your Scan web site for owners of the SC-2000 player and other hardware items.. They tend to work rather well and might save some hassel for your support services...
Look at www.3dfxgamers.com for example..
Other users can help users with problems.

Hmmm now that I think about it, you don`t want a forum full of posts complaining about problems on the same site which is trying to sell the players in the first place...
At least they could add a file download area for firmware updates.

3DFX and Nvidia along with other manufacturers have forums..
Maybe they were wrong ?

Well you got to admit that`s a little different. Take a look at the kind of posts you see here about Scan - crap machine, terrible customer service, etc etc. Surely they wouldn`t want that on their own site where a prospective customer could see it?

Some post will be good... Some bad... Just like the sites mentioned above..
Depends how much balls you have to have this feature on your corperate site.
