Page 1 of Problems with Epson stylus colour 600 on Windows XP

Hello,

I`ve recently got a Epson stylus c600 from a friend and just can`t get it to work with windows XP. When I installed it wasn`t autodetected. XP does have the printer listed during the install process and even tells you its been successfully installed, but when I go to print anything I just get page after page of gibberish.

I`ve tried the Epson support site, they have XP drivers for every printer but this one. As I got the printer second hand I didn`t get any install disks.

Do any of you use this printer with XP successfully?

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

As far as I know it`s not supported in XP. I`ve got the 680, which is.
Quite often though a driver for Windows 2000 or NT will work. Try them from www.epson.co.uk
