Dont worry. All the C40`s are the same. The UX is just the USB model.

I have an old Epson 760 and I just bought my dad the C20UX. In the last few years I have bought quite a bit off compatible ink and have found the "Print-Rit" compatibles to be one of the best. They are not the cheapest but at £10.95 delivered for 2 black and 2 colour its still cheap.

I get mine here - www.tonezoneuk.com

How much did you pay for the C40 and where from? I did here that Epson are replacing the inks for this printer with "Chipped" cartridges which cost more?

I did use choice until recently but they have now changed there ink from "Print Rite" to another make and I had a black clogg up on me.

Maybe a one off? but i`m sticking to "Print Rite" ink for my Epson 760
