After recently asking that funny-looking blondey bloke out of Attachments for directions in Brighton, and having had a slash next to Tinker off Lovejoy on the Kings Road (in a public toilet rather than actually ON the road), who else has had a run-in with a celeb (just a sighting`s not enough!). No one TOO famous, please!

I went to Chessington World of Adventures when I was younger and got Dave Benson Phillips off kids tv to sign my ticket. He challenged me (jokingly) about the fact that it was a child`s ticket and I blatantly wasn`t at the time.

And as I put in another thread a little while back - saw Susan George in a National Trust Garden in Devon. She acknowledged us presumably because she could hear us saying `Yeah, thats the bint that got her bristols out in Straw Dogs init??`

Tim Vincent brushed past me in HMV once (the Leeds store). I`ve led a totally celeb-free life otherwise!...

A few years ago i walked into a shop in Glasgow called Ichi Ni San and the girl who played Lucy out of neighbours (cant remember her real name) was in doing a photo shoot in the shop.

I sauntered in oblivious to what was happening and started looking through the rails of clothes blocking the cameramans view.

I had to be asked politely to move as there was somebody famous in the shop.

I felt like a right Twat!...especially as everyone was looking at me and i really fancied her as well at the time.

I sold a Crystal Palace football programme to Sean Hughes from Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

The PM`s wife was acting as a QC in a Tribunal I worked at a few weeks back in London : I think she was a bit amazed about how pally I was with another QC (first name terms), but I know him as he sits in my court !

Gave her a wink, as the Tribunal Chairman I was with let me sit at the top table with him, so I was actually "technically" above her and about six other QCs : made me feel pretty good about myself (I also got a public thanks from all the QCs in the opening address for my work : not bad for a humble admin officer !)

Just adding one on behalf of a friend of mine - Linsey Dawn Mackenzies nipple rubbed against his elbow in a nightclub in Croydon.

Jim Royle aka Ricky Tomlinson, Walking down Wrexham town centre, said hello to him he replyed `Not now kid` later that day I found out he was off to see his lad in court for doing something naughty.

Jonny Briggs, Pool Table company I worked for at the time had an order for him, Down his rather large house putting togeather a pool table for him, Nice fella, and sometime ago I was standing next to Sharon Osbourne at the checkout in Harrods, Little miss funny voice. Bless.

I met Frank Carson (the "it`s a cracker" bloke) in Birmingham, when I was coming out of an Iron Maiden concert! (I don`t think he went to the concert though!)
