anyone know where i can pick up a cheap monitor from as this one i`ve got is on its last legs :(

Try www.silicon-group.co.uk they have 15" Ex-leased for £25 and 17" @ £50. They also have (factory) refurbished P/Bell 15" @ £40 and 17"@ £70. I bought an ex-leased NEC VR17 for £50 about 6 months ago and have had no bother at all. They do mail order but I`m not sure how much it costs for P&P. They also charge 1% for Credit Card transactions so if you use them take the CC surcharge and the P&P into consideration when comparing prices. I`m not too bad as I only stay about a 15 minute drive from them . If you do buy from them register with their buyers club as they have some cracking deals that they mail you about.

Incidentally, try Lidl and Aldi : pretty sure you can pick up a 17" for £99

http://www.ebuyer.com are pretty keen on prices - I once had a problem with their customer services, but apart from that - fine. Free del if you spend over £100, too. I`ve just ordered a 19" for £133 plus VAT - it`s for a colleague to use, so I`ll let you know what it`s like when it arrives...
