Page 1 of x box 360 elite problem

Hi all not posted for a while but in need of some help.
I have purchased an x box 360 elite to go with my gaming system.
None of the cables are any use to me as they are for TV
I have purchased a cable that connects the x box to my pc monitor
The problem is i was hoping the elite would have an optical sound outlet that I could connect my Logitech Z5500 Digital PC Multimedia Home Theatre Speaker System - 505 Watt .
This has an optical /coax digital line in.
Can anyone help me with a cable that allows me to connect my sound up
I have goggled it to death but I am ever hopeful that someone else has the same set-up

If you bought the Elite brand new you should have the nessesary cable/adapter mate. It plugs into the av on the back of the 360 which means you need to use the HDMI port to output the video to your monitor. The adapter looks this and comes standard with the elite. They`re cheap enough on ebay if you didn`t get one though. HTH

You used to get one,  it`s probably one of the things taken out last year for the Xmas price drop. Anyway, glad to help:D
