Page 1 of R4 DS thing.........?

Jesus, how out of touch am I.... didn`t know these things existed til this morning!

So a little help for a novice please... Ive been reading that the R4 although not the newest DS card thing it has stood the test of time (or so others think)

Now, I wouldn`t mind one but would rather buy from a trusted UK company. Had a flyer from memorybits flogging them (not the SDHC version) for 20 notes, anyone know if this is the best deal for this card or could I buy cheaper from somewhere else......?

You can buy a 2 gig micro SD card for £4 inc delivery through Amazon, I`ve bought loads.

If you need to know any more, pm me. I`ve helped loads of people with these things. ;)

What do you use it for specifically Sue, ripped games?

I have bought several M2 Simply DS through model-gadget.com without any problem, and even recommended them here. However I know others have experienced very poor service from them.

That is a good price for the R4 in the UK though, they also have the SDHC version for another £2.

The best buy is still the DSTT from dealextreme.com

The problem im finding is there are SO many clones!

That said DE do have some dirt cheap carts but its all about support/firmware etc....

I have one myself. its not ideal.. its not getting updated anymore so, soon not all games can be playd on your ds.

Which makes me think Cyclods is a better option, don`t think they`ve been sued yet....

Yeah.. or M3DS its basicly the same as R4DS but getting updated

TTDS have been fine AFAIK until now.
Even if they stopped updating them they do a huge amount already.

For $7 (note DOLLARS) delivered from DE and chuck in any transflash/micro SD you have and away ye go!

I`ve got a couple of DSs with DSTTsfrom DE and they are great. Sure it can take upto a fortnight for delivery but your saving at least a tenner per card and they do the ones that come with a 2gb micro SD.
