Do you charge or buy new batteries for your Wii remotes?

Ben Franklin (Reviewer) posted this on Saturday, 26th May 2007, 18:58

Just had a go on my Wii, but had to replace all the batteries before I did because they`d died. So rather than buying another new set of batteries, it`s obvious that I need to buy a docking charger type device.

Seen a few on Amazon, but I wasn`t sure what was best. Any recommendations?

Hi
I bought Joytech Wii Power Station a while ago from Play.com and would recommend it.
Cost £17.99 incl. delivery.

I use the same. Does the job.
Shame there isn`t a small groove up the back to allow you to keep the wriststap at the back (you need to have it underneath the wiimote) and the controller sometimes needs a bit of tweaking to get the charging light to come on. Recommended though. :)

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

i just went for some rechargeable AA`s, with a high power rating (2700mAh) so they need charging less!

can also use the charger for other batteries unlike the docking station, but really depends if you need it
