XBOX 360 Game Replacement Program REMINDER

cassius76 (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 3rd May 2007, 11:49

Just a quick reminder for all with damaged copies of:

* Crackdown
* Dead or Alive 4
* DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme 2
* Fuzion Frenzy 2
* Gears Of War
* Halo 2
* Kameo: Elements of Power
* Ninety Nine Nights
* Perfect Dark Zero
* Project Gotham Racing 3
* Viva Piñata
* Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Vol. 1

It looks like some of the first batch of 360`s were damaging these discs. The drives were spinning too fast and heating the discs up, causing them to expand and retract, the result.. cracks in the discs and other probs too. The other theory is that there are bad batches of discs too, but I`m going with the first cause of problems, as I`m now on my 2nd 360!
I had cracks in my GOW so I sent it off..

360 disc replacement program

turnaround time for me was 8 days, not 4 -6 weeks like they say.

Got my GOW today. A new sealed copy. Nice. Bring on the new maps!!

:)

I have a US copy of DOA4 which has never worked well since i bought it....freezes and pauses a lot.

Do you think microsoft would replace it?

I could maybe say i brought it back from the US?

Cheers!
