damn you rockstar!!! the damn flying missions!!! i just cant seem to do the `miniture plane` level in san fierro and the circling the airfireld in the deserted airstrip in the desert. im not too borthered about the first cos you dont need to do it to finish the game, but the latter you HAVE to do it to progress and the handling of the plane is atrocious!!! its outrageously difficult to master. has anyone got any tips for me? pleeease...

keep on keepin` strong, keep on keepin` on...

The only tip I could give is to pop to the airfield in Los Santos and jump into the dodo and have a spin in that. Don`t use the jet as it`s too fast for the tight turn you want to get used to. Get the dodo airborne and try flying between the tall buildings north of the airfield, maybe try flying under the intersection bridges too. Unfortunately, there`s no quick fix with regards to the flying missions, you just have to get good. took me about 3 hours total to get to scratch

I picked it up pretty fast, but must admit they can still be a pain to fly. The Harrier Jumpjet is great though, and on the mission I got that I found it as easy as driving a car or motorbike.

Is there anything in particular you`re finding hard? Taking off perhaps? When you take off get as much speed as possible and wait for the planes nose to lift up itself. Then slowly edge it upwards, making sure to put the wheels away as fast as possible (as they way you down alot with lighter planes). When you turn try using R2 and L2 as well, it makes it easier usually if I remember correctly.

Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be?

try the r1 & r2 button together with gentle turns of the analog stick, I always yanked the knob too much myself in my youth...

Also try doing it in first person view, its much easier. Also just make light turns and let go. Otherwise you end up weaving all over
