Read error on PS2 back up process

Hi all, I`ve managed to back up a couple of my PS2 games successfully but the last three all abort during the read/write process with an `error reading data` message. I`ve tried cleaning the disks and they play fine in the PS2. Any suggestions? I am using Nero 6 ultra.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How are you doing it? Are you doing a straight on the fly copy? If you are, then you should try writing to the hard-drive first, or create an ISO with Alcohol 120% and burn that with something like Prassi Primo. Also burn at the lowest speed (which would be 1x on a DVD-Writer).
