Page 1 of Prince of Persia PS2

Just when I thought my PS2 was going to get its p45 I decided to buy Prince of Persia as it had been getting good reviews. WOW what a game.

The graphics are to die for and the animation of the character is amazing as he runs across walls, bounces of the bad guys and jumps across gaps. The gameplay is excellent and the ability to alter time really makes this something special.

I remember the Amiga original and how amazed I was with that, this does the same but to greater effect ! Buy the kids it for xmas, in fact s[at]d the kids this game is just tooo good.

I agree whole heartedly. It`s such a massive shame that this game isn`t getting the attention it deserves, and probably never will.

Game of The Year in my opinion!

The game does play very well.......the only problem I have with it is the setting: which has been done to death.The jumping and sword hacking has been seen in a million other games.It`s a very polished version of an old theme though.

You could say that every videogame setting has been done to death though....

It looks great. I was gutted when I found out it was a PS2 exclusive for the time being. Anyone know when the other consoles get it ?

The game plays just as well on the PC...

Gamecube and xbox are out on 30/1/04. Ps2 and Gamecube Versions has the original Amiga game as a hidden extra and Xbox has the awful Prince of Persia 3d. It really is a classic game, keeping me off xbox live too.

Cheers, late Christmas pressie then. Anyone tried to play the original recently ? Most frustrating game ever, put me in a shocking mood.

Ive got it on Xbox (Import Version) & got to say its really really good, in fact its turned me into a sad git as ive started dreaming about running up walls lol
