Page 1 of Battlefield 1942 - Desert Combat patching help

Ive been playing Battlefield for a couple of days now and downloaded the Desert Combat Mod. Ive installed into the EAgames, Battlefield folder. Can anyone tell me how to patch it as i cant find anywhere to make it play.

All you need to do is to run the patch once you downloaded it. i.e.double click on the patch - DesertCombat_0.39K_Patch.exe

Then when you load the game it should all be ok! It should be simplicity itself ! :D

Done that mate, but when i open the game everything is the same. Is there anything else i`m missing do you think? I downloaded DesertCombat_0.39K_Patch.exe
then realised i needed the previous version first 0.38 patch in order for it to run. So i downloaded that and intstalled it but i`m still not having much luck running it.

noticed it only works on: BattleField1942 version: 1.4 Heres a link to upgrade from 1.3:

Battlefield 1942 any good?? What about single player ??

Thanks for the links Ross, that 1.4 patch has got it sorted. If your a fan of 1st Person Shooters like Medal of Honour then this is an absolute must have. The Maps could be a bit bigger but being able to jump into a plane, Jeep, Tank more than makes up for it.

No worries! Liked the look of the game so much I went out and bought it myself ! Just need to work out how to best to get the patches as I`ve only a 56k modem...
